Strand Regional Specialty Associates was established in 1995 by Dr. David Kee, neurosurgeon. The vision was to form a comprehensive neuromuscular practice in the region. The group has been located at 82nd street since its inception. The building and the practice have grown over the years. An orthopedic wing was added in 1996. The Ocean Ambulatory Surgery Center was opened in 2001. The group introduced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services in 2002. Today, the group has three convenient locations throughout the Grand Strand area.
